Here is what we do for authors of long texts.

You are not obliged to have your book translated in one go. You send us your book and you ask for the translation of a first section, for example, 2,000 or 3,000 words. We will let you know the price per word + estimated turnaround time, and send you a PayPal money request (and a payment receipt on delivery of the text) for each batch of words which the author wishes to have translated.

The client only needs to pay the minimal 16-Euro processing fee once despite the additional adminstrative work involved in processing separate sections.

ADVANTAGES AS COMPARED WITH OTHER TRANSLATORS: Following translation, the text will receive a read-through FOR FREE by a second English-mother-tongue expert (including comparison with the original). This is normally a paid-for service which publishers consider indispensable to refine the translated text and make the book ready to publish. It is the equivalent of a 3½ cent discount per word on your entire text (as that is a standard rate for proof-reading).

Translation of a book is a meticulous, time-consuming process. Our affordable base rate starts at 5.5 Euro centimes per word + 16 Euros processing fee.
