Notice to bona fide clients:
Bona fide clients will understand that time spent working on their projects must be remunerated. Clients who have the premeditated intention not to settle their invoices must be excluded. Therefore, payment in advance is necessary in order for the service to undertake to translate or correct your document/s. See below.

You (the client) send your document by e-mail. The following file formats are accepted: MS Word, .doc, .docx, Text, or simply text in an e-mail. You can send your text to us in PDF but Word format is preferable.
We shall look at your document to decide if the translation is feasible and calculate the rate per word according to how complex or technical it is.
On receipt of your free quote, if you wish to order you can make your payment by credit or bank card using the PayPal money request which will be sent to your e-mail address at the same time as your quote. PayPal is the world leader in online payments, with more than 230 million clients.

The communication account is intended for the translation of general texts, letters, etc. (However, other customised packages are available according to the type of text to be translated -- artistic, literary, etc. Please contact us).
Translation of the text starts the day after it is received (not the same day, unless extremely short) because the translator's work will already have been assigned for the current day. Texts which arrive after office hours are registered on the next working day.
Texts of over 450 words will be fitted into the service's work schedule. You will be notified of how long it will take.

Example 1: If you make your payment on Monday at 1 o'clock p.m., the translation or correction will start the day afterwards, on Tuesday (unless otherwise indicated in the price quotation). If the delivery time indicated in your quote were 2 days, then you would receive your translated/corrected document on Wednesday at the end of office hours.

Example 2: If you make your payment on Monday at 6:30 p.m (after office hours), the payment is only registered the day afterwards, on Tuesday. Translation or correction would start on Wednesday (unless otherwise indicated in the price quotation). If the delivery time indicated in your quote were 2 days, then you would receive your translated/corrected document on Thursday at the end of office hours.

Example 3: If you make your payment on Friday at 10 o'clock p.m. (after office hours), the payment is only registered on Monday. Translation or correction will start on Tuesday (unless otherwise indicated in the price quotation). If the delivery time indicated in your quote were 6 days, then you would receive your translated/corrected document on Tuesday of the week afterwards at the end of office hours.

Secure payment. Payment is made by credit or bank card via PayPal. You can make your payment via PayPal whether or not you have a PayPal account. PayPal is the world leader in online payments, with more than 230 million account holders.
Force majeure. If, for reasons beyond her control (e.g., riots, communication outages, extreme weather conditions, sickness, etc.), the translator is not in a position to deliver the file/s within the estimated timeframe, she shall not be held liable.
You are a professional acting for your business, industrial, crafts or self-employed purposes: any right of withdrawal is not applicable.
The translator reserves the right to terminate a translation / correction project for a variety of reasons. In this case, the sum paid for the text yet to be translated / corrected will be reimbursed.

For books, articles, publications and texts used for commercial purposes or those which are public, it is obligatory to mention the translator's name. (This is because according to international copyright law, the copyright of the English version belongs to the translator.) For books, it is obligatory to show the translator's name on the title page and title page verso. For example: "English Translation © Astra d'Oudney." For newspapers, magazines, CD booklets, etc., attribution is shown on the Editorial page, for example: "Translation into English by Astra d'Oudney"
